Systems Analyst

About the role

The Systems Analyst will ensure the hotel’s technology infrastructure runs smoothly, delivering a world‑class digital experience for guests and supporting all internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware such as servers, PCs, POS devices and PABX, as well as software including Office 365 solutions.
• Ensure continuous high‑speed internet (HSIA), Wi‑Fi and in‑room entertainment systems for guests.
• Support and maintain core hospitality applications like Opera PMS, Micros POS and Sun System accounting.
• Implement and monitor information security protocols, data‑protection policies and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Finance, Housekeeping, F&B and Sales & Marketing to resolve system issues and optimise workflows.
• Provide audio‑visual support for meetings and events, working with the AV Supervisor and Events Team.
• Maintain software licences, update IT asset inventory and produce quarterly status reports.
• Act as secondary contact for external vendors and service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 2–5 years of IT experience, including 1–2 years in a senior support or supervisory role.
• Previous experience in luxury hospitality is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructure, network security, analog telephony and virtualization technologies.

Required skills

• Office 365 / Microsoft 365 administration.
• Opera PMS, Micros POS and Sun System accounting applications.
• LAN/WAN networking and network security principles.
• Analog telephony and PABX systems.
• Virtualisation platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Certifications: Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate, CCNA or CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional.
