Tailor – Luxury Hotel Uniform & Linen Specialist

About the role

Raffles The Palm Dubai is seeking a skilled Tailor to join its hospitality team. Reporting to the Linen/Laundry Supervisor, you will provide high‑quality tailoring and alteration services that support both operational needs and guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and alter flat work such as bed linen, bathrobes, towels and bath mats used throughout the hotel.
• Maintain and mend table linen, kitchen linen, curtain headings and hems.
• Repair, alter and sew buttons on all staff uniforms and perform minor guest‑item repairs on request.
• Assist uniform staff with checking, sorting and distributing uniforms.
• Keep sewing machines and work areas clean, well‑maintained and compliant with OH&S policies.
• Perform regular machine checks and undertake special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Secondary education with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar hospitality tailoring role.
• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
