Tax and Compliance Professional

About the role

Brightest GAAP is seeking a Tax & Compliance Professional with strong hands‑on knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax. This client‑facing position involves managing compliance and advisory assignments for UAE and GCC clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and advisory assignments for clients.
• Prepare and review VAT returns, reconciliations, tax computations and Corporate Tax returns.
• Perform VAT and Corporate Tax health checks, identifying compliance gaps and tax risks.
• Support clients with FTA queries, assessments and tax audits.
• Coordinate statutory audit support, including PBC schedules and resolution of audit queries.
• Assist with e‑invoicing readiness and implementation.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of relevant UAE experience in Tax, VAT, Accounting or Audit, preferably in a professional services firm.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of both UAE VAT and UAE Corporate Tax.
• Practical experience with VAT returns, VAT advisory and Corporate Tax computations/compliance.
• Understanding of FTA processes, tax audits and assessments.
• Good accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with client interaction ability.
