Tax Consultant

About the role

The Tax Consultant will work on‑site in Dubai, advising clients on UAE and international tax implications for business setup, restructuring and ongoing operations. The role involves preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance, and supporting clients during tax audits.

Key responsibilities

• Review financial records and prepare/ file tax returns in accordance with UAE and international regulations.
• Develop tax‑efficient strategies and interpret updates to tax laws, VAT and corporate tax regimes.
• Support clients through tax audits, inquiries and regulatory reviews.
• Collaborate with internal teams and banking partners to produce client reports and presentations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all tax engagements.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in tax planning and strategy development to optimise client positions.
• Demonstrated experience in tax compliance, preparation and audit support.
• Solid understanding of UAE tax regulations, VAT frameworks and relevant international tax principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field; professional certifications (CPA, CA, CTA) are a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple client engagements in a fast‑paced environment.
