Tax Control, Risk and Reporting Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Control, Risk and Reporting Analyst to join a regional finance team in Dubai. The role strengthens tax controls, improves reporting quality and supports the identification and management of tax risks across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Review tax calculations, returns, reconciliations and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform independent control reviews across tax processes and identify improvement areas.
• Maintain and update the group’s tax risk register, documenting risks, mitigation plans and ownership.
• Track emerging tax legislation, compliance issues and potential exposures, preparing risk summaries for senior finance leadership.
• Develop and maintain tax dashboards covering compliance status, audits, risks and key performance indicators.
• Support tax provisioning activities and coordinate information requests for external auditors and tax authorities.
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation, intercompany transaction records and tax technology initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Audit, Risk Management or related discipline.
• 3‑6 years of experience in tax, audit, accounting, risk or financial reporting, preferably with a Big 4 or large international accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or progress towards one is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical mindset with high attention to detail and confident communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and data analysis.
• Experience with dashboards, reporting tools and ERP systems.
