Tax Manager – Global Tax Strategy

About the role

Harris Pye is seeking a Tax Manager to lead the development and execution of the Group’s global tax strategy. The role ensures compliance with direct and indirect tax obligations across all jurisdictions where the company operates, while providing expert advice to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive global tax strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Establish and uphold a robust tax governance framework and ensure adherence to Group policies.
• Provide strategic tax advice to senior management and support the Board on critical tax matters.
• Monitor international tax legislation, assess impacts, and adapt the Group’s approach accordingly.
• Design and execute tax planning initiatives to optimise the Company’s tax position.
• Coordinate tax audits, manage disputes and act as the primary liaison with tax authorities.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in international taxation, particularly in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
• Proven experience managing tax risk and supporting cross‑border business activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex tax issues into practical business solutions.
• Ability to work closely with finance teams, operational leaders, external advisers, auditors and tax authorities.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of direct and indirect tax regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience with tax governance frameworks and compliance processes.
• Proficiency in tax audit coordination and dispute resolution.
