Teacher – Business Studies & Economics

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Teacher for Business Studies & Economics to join its schools at the start of the 2027/2028 academic year. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress and contributing to the wider school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons for a range of abilities, creating an engaging learning environment.
• Assess and record student progress using Target Tracker and provide feedback to parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, curriculum support staff and parents to support student wellbeing and achievement.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy and act as a positive role model.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events and run a weekly extracurricular activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is a second language.
• Passion for whole‑child education, professionalism and a solution‑focused attitude.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check and commitment to safeguarding.
