Teaching and Learning Lead – Primary Phase

About the role

An exciting opportunity to join a leading GEMS school in Dubai as a Teaching and Learning Lead starting January 2027. You will support teaching and learning across the Primary phase while also delivering English lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Principal and Senior Leadership Team with strategic school development and champion a culture of high expectations.
• Monitor, evaluate and improve teaching and learning, providing coaching, mentoring and professional development for teachers.
• Lead observation cycles, learning walks, planning reviews and ensure consistent application of curriculum policies.
• Design and deliver CPD sessions, attend external training and share developments with staff.
• Use assessment data to analyse performance, provide constructive feedback and promote a positive learning culture.
• Manage allocated budget areas, organise resources and ensure effective communication across teams.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent.
• Experience within a diverse, international school community is advantageous.
• Previous experience teaching KS3 English lessons preferred.
• Proven ability to improve teaching quality and student outcomes.
• Excellent coaching and leadership skills.
