Teaching Assistant (UAE National) – Cranleigh Abu Dhabi

About the role

Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, part of the Aldar Education family, is looking for a UAE National Teaching Assistant. The role supports learning across the curriculum, assists teachers, and helps create a positive, engaging environment for pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom support to groups or individual pupils, using school policies such as phonics and math strategies.
• Prepare resources, set up the classroom, create displays and record pupil activities.
• Encourage pupil independence through questioning, modeling and supporting personal organization and hygiene.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, supervise them during breaks, trips, transitions and specialist lessons, and manage behaviour positively.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers, maintain confidentiality, report concerns and contribute actively to the school community.

• Ability to develop positive working relationships with all members of the school community, from children to staff and parents.
• Initiative, flexibility and a positive attitude, with a commitment to supporting children to become independent learners.
