Team Lead Engineering

About the role

Mammoet develops safe and efficient heavy lifting and transport solutions for some of the world's most challenging projects. As Team Lead Engineering in Dubai, you will lead a team of engineers and oversee the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that support project success and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers.
• Plan and allocate engineering resources across multiple projects.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, including calculations, lift plans, drawings and risk assessments.
• Provide technical guidance and support for complex heavy lifting and transport solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales and Project Management to deliver safe and effective project outcomes.
• Monitor engineering quality, compliance, performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage departmental reporting, budgets and resource utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 8-12 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in heavy lifting, construction, offshore, oil & gas, mining or related industries.
• Previous experience leading or supervising engineering teams.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Professional-level experience in engineering operation practices and systems, HLT equipment, internal codes and standards.
• Strong knowledge of engineering calculations, risk assessments and international engineering standards.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
