Team Leader – Front of House

About the role

AlphaMind is looking for a proactive Team Leader to oversee the front‑of‑house operations at Le Relais de l’Entrecôte in Business Bay, Dubai. You will support the management team by ensuring smooth daily service, high guest satisfaction, and adherence to the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the front‑of‑house team during assigned shifts and act as the main point of contact when a manager is absent.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings, assign stations, and communicate reservations, VIP guests, and daily targets.
• Supervise opening and closing procedures, including checklists and shift handovers.
• Monitor service flow, table turnover, order accuracy, and timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Coordinate the first and second servings of steak, fries, and sauce according to the restaurant concept.
• Welcome guests, monitor their dining experience, and address requests or minor complaints promptly.
• Assist during busy periods with orders, service, clearing tables, and guest requests.
• Train, coach, and motivate new and existing team members.
• Track attendance, punctuality, grooming, and performance, and encourage upselling of beverages and desserts.
• Ensure proper use of the POS system, cash‑handling procedures, and compliance with food safety and health standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a front‑of‑house supervisory or team‑lead role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash‑handling procedures.
