Team Leader – Housekeeping

About the role

The Team Leader – Housekeeping will oversee daily cleaning and maintenance activities across the property, ensuring that all guest areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will guide a team of attendants, conduct regular inspections and uphold health‑and‑safety and service policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping operations in assigned zones.
• Lead, coach and schedule a team of housekeeping attendants.
• Monitor performance, conduct inspections and address any deficiencies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health‑and‑safety regulations and brand service standards.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting shortages as needed.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports using basic computer applications.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality‑related qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning equipment and safety standards.
• Basic computer literacy for reporting purposes.
