Team Leader - Indirect Procurement

About the role

Julphar is seeking a Team Leader to drive the full‑cycle Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process for CAPEX, OPEX and services. The role combines strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and end‑to‑end issue resolution to ensure timely delivery and payment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily purchase requisitions, RFQs, price benchmarking and SAP PO creation for indirect procurement.
• Source new suppliers, negotiate commercial terms and oversee freight finalisation and forwarder nominations.
• Coordinate international logistics, including MOH approvals, customs clearance and timely delivery.
• Lead GMP‑QMS activities such as Change Controls, CAPA, Deviations and ensure compliance with ISO 14001:2015 standards.
• Design and test internal controls, support internal audits and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Generate monthly KPI reports on open PRs, PO volume and cost savings.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of procurement experience, preferably in pharma machinery, CAPEX/OPEX and IT procurement.
• Engineering background (Mechanical/Electrical) or Operational degree plus MBA or Pharmaceutical studies.
• Hands‑on experience with QMS processes (CAPA, Change Control, Deviations) and on‑the‑job training.

Required skills

• Technical proficiency in SAP, Ariba and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced data‑visualisation with Power BI.
• Use of AI‑driven productivity tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot.
