Team Leader – PL Fulfilment (Telesales)

About the role

The Team Leader – PL Fulfilment will manage a team of telesales agents within the Retail Banking Group. The role is responsible for developing and implementing telesales strategies, setting challenging sales targets and ensuring they are achieved while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver sales lead targets and keep unqualified leads below 3%.
• Execute short‑term workshops to set goals, identify buying motives and develop winning sales tactics.
• Liaise with Sales Managers and Product teams to create calling programmes and maintain accurate lead lists.
• Schedule projects, monitor capacity and ensure consistent sales conversion levels.
• Generate competitive knowledge, benchmark performance and improve cost efficiency of telesales operations.
• Plan and recommend technology solutions to automate processes and boost agent productivity.
• Design performance metrics, conduct call monitoring, coaching and feedback sessions.
• Develop quizzes to assess product knowledge and provide targeted coaching.
• Select, recruit, train, certify and deploy telesales agents; design effective scripts for various campaigns.
• Ensure smooth workflow by managing lists, staffing levels and job assignments, and continuously adapt approaches based on incoming call data.

Required profile

• University graduate.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role, with at least 3 years managing people.
• Preferably a practical marketing background.
• Strong sales and customer focus with the ability to think creatively under pressure.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Analytical and computer‑savvy with solid business awareness.
• Adaptable, versatile and results‑driven.
