Team Leader - Quality Control

About the role

The Finished Product & Stability Team Leader at Julphar HQ leads quality control processes and a team within the Quality Control division, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering reliable product release decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and ensure compliance of all QC finished product and stability activities, including online compliance and SOP maintenance.
• Operate QC instruments, enter and verify test data in SAP, and coordinate analysis planning with production plants.
• Supervise analysts, manage technology transfer projects, and make release or rejection decisions in SAP based on quality evaluations.
• Conduct investigations of lab incidents, OOS, OOL results and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Support internal and external audits, close audit observations, and manage QMS actions (CAPA, deviations, change controls) using Amplelogic.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in QC/QA within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and proven leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GLP, GMP, cGMP regulations and ability to ensure data integrity and documentation practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) implementation.
• Proficiency with SAP for data entry, review and product release.
• Experience operating QC instruments and stability testing equipment.
• Familiarity with Amplelogic QMS system for managing CAPA, deviations and change controls.
