Team Leader – Warehousing

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Team Leader to oversee daily warehousing operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage and shipping of products while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing and shipping.
• Lead, mentor and train warehouse staff on procedures, safety and equipment use.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment with the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Utilise the LFS Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and manage order fulfilment.
• Operate and instruct the use of RF scanners for inventory management and order picking.
• Implement inventory control processes, perform daily stock reconciliation and minimise discrepancies.
• Analyse operational performance metrics and develop improvement strategies.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order processing.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised warehouse.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback and resolve employee issues.
• Prepare reports on performance, inventory and operational challenges for management.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading warehouse teams and mentoring staff.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and SOPs.
• Ability to analyse data and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
