Senior Procurement Officer – Engineering & Facilities

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities for engineering and facilities projects, ensuring cost‑effective and timely acquisitions that align with flydubai’s policies and budgetary guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review procurement needs with internal stakeholders and prepare RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents.
• Manage the full procurement cycle – source, evaluate, negotiate, and award contracts to secure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Process purchase requisitions, bid documents, and purchase orders in compliance with internal controls.
• Assess supplier performance using metrics such as delivery reliability, quality, responsiveness, and pricing consistency.
• Oversee contract lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, and extensions.
• Conduct financial evaluations of vendor proposals and present commercial assessments to approvers.
• Coordinate technical evaluations with business units and subject‑matter experts.
• Maintain vendor documentation, support vendor pre‑qualification, and update the approved vendor list.
• Produce procurement dashboards, KPI reports, and support data‑driven decision making.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide first‑level system support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven procurement experience, preferably in engineering or facilities environments.
• Fluent English communication skills.
