Technical Account Manager

About the role

Varonis is hiring a Technical Account Manager in Abu Dhabi. Technical Account Managers are the primary contact for Varonis customers and the first line of defense for data, providing onboarding and ongoing value and support. The role requires a motivated self-starter with strong technical acumen and customer service skills.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure data is protected from insider threats, cyber-attacks and policy violations.
• Onboard customers to Varonis platforms and deliver ongoing value and support.
• Drive customer success through proactive health checks, hands-on product usage and training, and sharing of best practices.
• Prepare and deliver quarterly business and blast radius reviews.
• Alongside Sales, identify and champion upsell opportunities.
• Learn new Varonis products and develop expertise in each client's security ecosystem.
• Help Account Managers and Sales Engineers identify renewal risk and ensure successful renewals.
• Serve as the primary technical contact and support the support and engineering teams.
• Advocate for customers with internal Varonis teams so feedback is documented and assessed.
• Engage customers across infrastructure, cloud, privacy and compliance, security, incident response and the C-suite.
• Identify, research, maintain and remediate technical issues, follow up with action plans and escalate when appropriate.
• Create knowledge base content for customer and internal reuse.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in a customer-facing role at a cloud, cybersecurity or data security and privacy company.
• Experience working with Windows OS.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT, cloud and security technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem-solving, analytical and sales-oriented abilities in a team environment.
