Technical Buyer – Aviation Spare Parts

About the role

The Technical Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and supplying spare parts and repair capabilities for aviation equipment. Working closely with service technicians, the role ensures timely delivery of components and compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Source, order and deliver spare parts and accessories required by service technicians.
• Identify and engage local repair companies to provide repair capabilities.
• Notify service personnel of special or back‑order parts upon receipt.
• Ensure parts and repairs meet manufacturer requirements and documentation standards.
• Conduct physical testing of equipment and vehicles after servicing, including engines, gearboxes, steering, brakes and instruments.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary education (12 years) followed by a recognized mechanical course.
• Minimum four years of experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical assemblies, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong communication skills using email, phone and other methods.
