Technical Delivery Manager

About the role

The Technical Delivery Manager owns end-to-end technical delivery of assigned projects, making sure that solutions approved by the Architecture & Delivery Alignment Committee are delivered on time, in scope and with the required quality and compliance. The role coordinates AI, Data Science, Engineering, Infrastructure and Security teams with Project Management, Architecture, Product and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical delivery from internal kick-off through UAT, client sign-off and closure, turning the approved architecture and SOW into a delivery plan.
• Act as escalation point for risks and dependencies, align scope, architecture, approach and team capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to the Delivery Governance Framework, architecture standards and security policies, and take part in ADAC reviews and structured change control.
• Oversee task breakdown, dependencies and risk mitigation, and support UAT, defect triage, readiness and handover.
• Coordinate AI, Data, Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure and Security teams, and align milestones with the Project Manager, features with Product and transitions with Sales and Presales.
• Be the client's primary technical delivery contact, track effort and cost against budget, and manage vendor and subcontractor deliverables.
• Lead lessons learned and recommend improvements to governance, tools and repeatable delivery models.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years in technology delivery, including 5+ years in technical delivery, solution delivery or engineering leadership on complex multi-stream projects (AI, data, platforms, cloud) for enterprise or government clients; UAE experience preferred.
• Preferred certifications: PMP or PRINCE2; Agile (PMI-ACP, PSM or SAFe); ITIL 4 Foundation.
• Excellent English; Arabic is an advantage.

• Technical grounding in AI, data platforms, big data and modern application architectures.
• Cloud and on-premises infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, and security and non-functional requirements.
• Agile and hybrid delivery, RAID management and change control (Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
• Client-facing communication, negotiation and executive reporting.
