Technical Designer

About the role

Kristina Zanic Consultants is seeking a Technical Designer to support the development, documentation, and post‑contract phases of interior design projects across hospitality, commercial, leisure and residential sectors. The role ensures that all design drawings meet the company’s quality standards and are ready for construction.

Key responsibilities

• Review and quality‑check interior design (ID) drawings, shop drawings and specifications for new builds and renovations.
• Coordinate with design and CAD teams to resolve drawing issues and recommend construction details.
• Manage site coordination, including approval of material samples and verification of shop drawings on‑site.
• Oversee SOPs, checklists and the post‑contract quality assurance process (PQP).
• Ensure projects such as hotels, offices, retail spaces, leisure venues, residential developments and public buildings are executed to the required standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in technical design for interior projects.
• Strong eye for detail and ability to communicate design intent to construction teams.
• Proven experience in site coordination and managing documentation packages.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) software.
