Technical Engineer – High Rise Tower Project

About the role

China State Construction is looking for a Technical Engineer to support the tendering and technical coordination of a high‑rise tower project in Dubai. The role involves preparing compliant proposals, managing technical documentation, and ensuring constructability throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review ITT documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs and project requirements.
• Prepare Roles & Responsibilities matrices for tender preparation.
• Raise RFIs and coordinate technical clarifications with clients and consultants.
• Develop cost‑efficient technical solutions based on feasible systems, equipment and resource planning.
• Collaborate with Tender, Estimation, Cost Control, Procurement and other departments for technical and costing inputs.
• Prepare technical presentations and participate in client, kick‑off, mid‑tender and final review meetings.
• Maintain method‑statement libraries, IMS procedures and technical handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related engineering/technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical engineering, tendering, proposals or construction.
• Strong knowledge of technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, method statements and tender requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
