Technical Manager / Senior Technical Engineer – High‑rise Project

About the role

SCEGC Dubai is seeking experienced professionals for the Technical Manager and Senior Technical Engineer positions on the G+5P+45 Laguna by One Development high‑rise project in Dubai. The roles demand strong engineering and technical project expertise, providing leadership, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review technical drawings, project specifications, and BOQs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Identify and resolve design clashes, site queries, and Requests for Information.
• Conduct site inspections to verify installations and construction activities meet approved quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare technical submittals and progress reports.
• Maintain accurate as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
• 10–15 years of hands‑on experience in engineering, contracting, or technical project environments.
• UAE or GCC experience preferred, especially on high‑rise building projects.
• Must currently be based in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Microsoft Office, and technical project documentation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
