Technical Office Engineer – Test Packages

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Office Engineer to develop and manage test packages for piping systems on a newly awarded oil & gas EPC project in the UAE. The role involves preparing detailed test documentation, coordinating with construction and QA/QC teams, and ensuring safe and compliant pressure testing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed piping test packs using approved P&IDs, isometrics, line lists and ADNOC specifications.
• Review drawings and specifications to confirm readiness for pressure testing.
• Coordinate with construction to verify installation and with QA/QC for inspection approvals.
• Ensure completion of welding, NDT and inspection activities before testing.
• Maintain master test package tracking registers and archive certified pressure charts, calibration records and inspection sheets.
• Support mechanical completion certification and resolve technical queries on test limits and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in piping pressure testing and test package preparation.
• Proven knowledge of ASME B31.3, hydro‑testing procedures and QA/QC processes.
• Experience on large‑scale oil & gas projects in the Middle East.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
