Technical Product Owner - FX And CFDs

About the role

ThinkMarkets is a global financial technology company delivering multi‑asset trading solutions through its ThinkTrader platform. The company is seeking a Technical Product Owner to shape and deliver innovative digital products, with a focus on AI‑assisted solutions for FX and CFD markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own and communicate the product vision, roadmap and priorities aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, customer needs, technical feasibility and delivery priorities.
• Gather, analyse and translate business and technical requirements into clear user stories, epics and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning and ensure requirements are development‑ready.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude and Claude Code to support product discovery, requirements and documentation.
• Partner with technical teams to evaluate solutions across usability, performance, scalability, security and maintainability.
• Use data, user feedback and performance insights to identify and prioritize product improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst or similar role in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across business, product and technology teams.
• Experience in trading, fintech or financial services, or exposure to AI‑enabled products is advantageous.

Required skills

• Experience with AI tools such as Claude and Claude Code.
• Good technical understanding of web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of APIs, system integrations and databases.
