Technical Sales Engineer – Pump

About the role

We're recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer – Pump for a leading building‑materials organization in Dubai, UAE. The role involves promoting pump solutions to end users, contractors and consultants in water‑treatment and swimming‑pool projects.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate pump features, benefits and applications to end users, contractors and consultants.
• Analyse customer requirements (flow rate, head, fluid type, temperature, viscosity) and recommend suitable centrifugal or positive‑displacement pumps.
• Perform pump sizing, head calculations, NPSH analysis and pump selection using manufacturer software.
• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, quotations and bid documents.
• Troubleshoot pump performance issues, suggest modifications and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
• Develop and maintain relationships with end users, contractors and consultants to identify business opportunities and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in pump sales, including 2–4 years in the UAE market.
• Strong technical knowledge of pumps, water‑treatment systems and swimming‑pool applications.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer‑relationship skills.
