Technical Sales Lead - OT Cybersecurity

About the role

ABB is looking for a Technical Sales Lead for its OT Cybersecurity portfolio across the IMEA region. The role reports to the Hub Digital Lead AUEN IMEA and acts as the primary technical authority for cybersecurity growth, customer engagements, opportunity development and delivery governance, working closely with sales, local divisions, OPCs and global product teams. It contributes to the Digital in automation business within the IMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the IMEA technical authority for ABB OT Cybersecurity solutions.
• Contribute to the software product roadmap by suggesting new features, functionality and variants.
• Manage end-to-end technical sales support: identify customer needs and develop, demonstrate and articulate the solution's features.
• Orchestrate the full customer lifecycle: opportunity identification and qualification, discovery and value engineering, solution blueprinting, pilot, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Develop qualified opportunity pipelines across Energy, Water, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining and Process Industries.

Required profile

• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in cybersecurity for industrial automation, OT cybersecurity, digital solutions or related industrial technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting regional or multi-country business development activities.
• Current valid driving license in the UAE.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, DCS, PLC, SCADA and OT environments.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 and the cybersecurity market.
• Strong communication, presentation and customer engagement skills, and ability to work across cultures and multiple IMEA markets.
