Technical Service Engineer – Boilers

About the role

Viessmann Middle East is seeking an experienced Technical Service Engineer – Boilers to join its Technical Service team in the UAE. The role acts as the field‑based technical representative, delivering professional support, commissioning, maintenance and training for heating and hot‑water solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advisory services to customers, contractors, installers, consultants and service partners, both remotely and on‑site.
• Respond to service requests, diagnose issues and perform troubleshooting to ensure timely resolution.
• Carry out start‑up, commissioning, testing and handover of installed systems according to Viessmann standards.
• Perform service, repair, preventive maintenance, inspection and troubleshooting while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Manage warranty cases, prepare accurate service documentation and support spare‑parts quotations and service proposals.
• Develop and deliver technical and practical field training for contractors, installers and service partners.
• Participate in standby and emergency‑response rotations, including weekend and after‑hours support.

Required profile

• Technical vocational qualification, diploma or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant field‑service, commissioning, maintenance or technical‑support experience in the heating, hot‑water or boiler industry.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the UAE and take part in standby/emergency duties.

Required skills

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, commissioning, maintaining and repairing heating and hot‑water systems.
• Hands‑on experience with boilers and hot‑water systems; experience with steam boilers and heat‑pump systems is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and product documentation.
