Technical Team Leader - Landscape

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Technical Team Leader (Landscape) in Abu Dhabi. The role manages and coordinates all technical aspects of landscape projects, including design review, shop drawings, material submittals, technical approvals and interdisciplinary coordination. It ensures landscape works meet project specifications, quality standards, budget and schedule, supports project teams, resolves design and construction issues and keeps clients, consultants, suppliers and site teams aligned.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review and submission of landscape shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical documentation.
• Ensure landscape works comply with contract requirements, project specifications, local regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, MEP, civil and construction teams to resolve technical issues and avoid design conflicts.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams during project execution.
• Review and validate landscape design drawings for constructability, accuracy and compliance.
• Manage technical approvals and follow up on consultant and client comments.
• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating materials, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify and implement value engineering opportunities to optimise costs without compromising quality.
• Monitor project progress technically and help achieve milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare technical reports, RFIs, design clarifications and project correspondence, and keep technical records controlled.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of drafting experience; infrastructure or landscape project exposure preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of landscape construction.
• Leadership capability to guide site engineers and coordinate technical activities.
• Integrity, teamwork and strong commercial awareness.
