Technical Team Leader – Landscape Projects

About the role

The Technical Team Leader (Landscape) oversees all technical aspects of landscape projects, ensuring designs are executed to specification, quality, budget and schedule. You will act as the primary technical liaison between clients, consultants, suppliers and on‑site teams to drive successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review and submission of landscape shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and other technical documentation.
• Verify that all landscape works comply with contract requirements, project specifications, local regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, civil and construction teams to resolve technical issues and prevent design conflicts.
• Provide on‑site technical support and guidance during construction.
• Review and validate design drawings for constructability, accuracy and compliance.
• Manage technical approvals, track consultant and client comments and ensure timely progress.
• Support procurement by reviewing specifications and evaluating materials, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify value‑engineering opportunities to optimise costs without compromising quality.
• Monitor technical progress, prepare reports, RFIs and design clarifications, and maintain comprehensive project records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of drafting experience, preferably on infrastructure or landscape projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of landscape construction and drawing control discipline.
• Excellent coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership capability to guide site engineers and manage multiple technical submissions.
• Commercial awareness to support value‑engineering and cost optimisation.
