Technician 1 – Ain Dubai

About the role

The Technical Specialist ensures the safe, efficient and reliable operation of Ain Dubai’s rides, facilities and equipment, delivering a high‑quality experience for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on rides and related equipment.
• Respond promptly to work orders to minimise downtime.
• Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and within required timelines.
• Conduct safety checks, inspections and support risk assessments and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer maintenance and operational standards.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders, track tasks and control inventory of parts and tools.
• Identify spare‑part, tool and training needs and coordinate with supervisors.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors to maintain smooth operations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to carry out preventive maintenance and respond to urgent work orders.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and safety compliance.
• Experience working with permit‑to‑work and risk‑assessment processes.
• Effective coordination with supervisors, departments and contractors.

Required skills

• CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) operation.
• Preventive maintenance techniques.
• Safety inspection procedures.
• Permit‑to‑work system handling.
