Technician Electrician

About the role

Rixos Al Mairid, part of the Accor group, is looking for a proactive Technician Electrician to join its Engineering team. The role ensures the reliable operation of all electrical systems across the hotel, supporting guest comfort and safety while adhering to Rixos standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical installations throughout the property.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and wiring.
• Support emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with fire and life‑safety regulations.
• Maintain workshop inventory and control of material stocks.
• Contribute to energy‑saving and sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Participate in task‑force assignments and special projects as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures and preventive maintenance.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit for rescues, extended standing and outdoor work in varying weather.
