Technician, Maintenance (CNG)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will support ADNOC by performing preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance on all CNG and hydrogen refuelling facilities. The role involves direct interaction with end‑users, coordination with external contractors, and strict adherence to HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute corrective and emergency repairs on electromechanical equipment such as CNG compressors, electric motors, switchgear, MCC rooms, dispensers, cooling water circuits, PLC & power panels, and trailer‑mounted gas systems.
• Inspect, monitor and follow‑up on contractor work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Visit sites to assess problems, verify repairs, and produce written reports for the CNG Maintenance Supervisor.
• Review preventive maintenance reports, identify equipment due for replacement, and recommend actions.
• Conduct routine predictive maintenance tests and attend all breakdowns promptly to restore equipment to service.
• Process urgent small‑item purchases using petty cash and log maintenance activities in the SAP system.

Required profile

• Experience in electromechanical maintenance of CNG and hydrogen refuelling equipment.
• Ability to coordinate with third‑party contractors and follow detailed as‑built drawings.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and safe work practices in hazardous areas.
• Proficiency in using SAP for maintenance request management.
