Techno-Functional Consultant - Xstore & SIOCS

About the role

ECS is looking for an experienced Techno-Functional Consultant in Dubai to act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Retail Xstore and SIOCS across projects and support initiatives. The role covers requirements gathering, enhancements, system integrations, SIT/UAT and production support.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements
• Support enhancements, feature rollouts and configuration changes in Xstore and SIOCS
• Coordinate and support integrations between POS, inventory and other retail systems
• Prepare and run SIT and UAT test scenarios and manage defect triage with technical teams
• Support production issues, perform functional analysis and coordinate resolution
• Assist in release validation and post-deployment support
• Work with business users, product teams and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Create and maintain functional documentation, process flows and interface validation documents

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing and supporting retail store and inventory systems
• Strong functional expertise in Oracle Retail Xstore and SIOCS
• Self-starter, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple parallel workstreams

Required skills

• Xstore (Fixed POS and Mobile POS) and SIOCS, including POS flows, tenders, promotions, returns, inventory movements, adjustments, receiving, transfers and stock counting
• Xstore and SIOCS integrations with OMS, RMS, loyalty and payment providers, and end-to-end POS transaction flows
• SIT and UAT cycles, including test scenario preparation, execution and defect management
• Store rollouts, go-live support and hyper care
• Nice to have: RICS, JIRA, Confluence, Agile/Scrum, and exposure to RMS, ReSA, RPM or OMS
