Telco Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Help AG is seeking a hands‑on Cybersecurity Engineer with deep experience in telecom security to support engineering initiatives across 4G/5G environments. The role involves designing, implementing and optimizing security controls and detection use cases for Telco networks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise cybersecurity controls and use cases for 4G/5G telecom environments.
• Develop detection and monitoring use cases aligned with MITRE ATT&CK & FiGHT frameworks using Splunk / Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Analyse security events, network activity and threat indicators across telecom infrastructure.
• Support detection engineering, threat hunting and investigations of cyber threats targeting Telco/5G.
• Collaborate with SOC, network, security and engineering teams to improve threat detection and response.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in Telco/Telecom Cybersecurity Engineering.
• Practical understanding of 4G/5G security and telecom network environments.
• Experience implementing MITRE ATT&CK‑based detection use cases.
• Strong understanding of network security and telecom attack techniques.
