Telecom System Specialist

About the role

The Telecom System Specialist will support site construction and commissioning teams across multiple EPC projects in the GCC region. You will be responsible for planning, executing, verifying and documenting telecom and infrastructure systems to ensure safe, on‑schedule delivery with full technical handover.

Key responsibilities

• Review telecom engineering deliverables, vendor documents, procedures and test forms for suitability on site.
• Plan and coordinate telecom site activities, permits and interfaces with construction, E&I, automation and vendor teams.
• Verify compliance of all telecom works with approved drawings, specifications, quality procedures and HSE rules.
• Support field installation and pre‑commissioning of systems such as structured cabling, fiber optic networks, radio systems, CCTV, intrusion detection, access control, public address, alarm and telephone systems.
• Conduct integration, functional and insulation tests, and prepare complete technical documentation for handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 84 months (7 years) of experience in telecom system installation, commissioning and integration.
• Proven ability to work on a rotation schedule (60 days on‑site, 10 days off) and travel across the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and quality assurance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
