Telecommunications Supervisor

About the role

Ultimate HR Solutions is hiring a Telecommunications Supervisor for a prestigious, well-established organization in the UAE. The role supervises daily telecommunications operations, ensuring the reliable installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of telecom and network infrastructure, while coordinating team activities, contractors and service delivery. It is a site-based position involving regular computer use and supporting both indoor and outdoor events.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the telecommunications team and coordinate daily tasks, resources and project activities.
• Oversee the installation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of telecom systems and network infrastructure.
• Manage structured cabling, MDF/IDF systems, wireless connectivity, access points and related equipment.
• Monitor internal service requests and ensure timely resolution in line with agreed service standards.
• Coordinate work orders and telecom projects to quality completion within approved timelines.
• Manage team schedules, attendance, overtime and operational reports.
• Monitor wireless network performance and ensure reliable connectivity.
• Supervise external contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with technical requirements and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, information security requirements, quality standards and health and safety procedures.
• Coach and support team members through training, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Prepare operational updates and reports to support efficient service delivery.

Required profile

• A relevant qualification in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Networking or a related technical field is preferred.
• Experience supervising technical teams and strong telecommunications expertise.
• Ability to coordinate with technical teams, contractors and other stakeholders; flexibility to support operational and event schedules.

Required skills

• Knowledge of telecommunications and network infrastructure.
• Experience with structured cabling, MDF/IDF systems and wireless networks.
• Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
