Telephone Operator – Resort & Spa

About the role

As a Telephone Operator at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, you will be the first point of contact for guests and staff, ensuring every call is handled with professionalism and warmth. Your role supports the overall guest experience by providing accurate information and timely assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and place all incoming and outgoing calls, including wake‑up calls, guest and staff paging, international calls, and directory assistance.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, maintain privacy, resolve complaints, and promote hotel services.
• Provide up‑to‑date information on hotel facilities, local attractions, meeting‑room bookings, and business‑center services.
• Maintain accurate call logs and keep hotel directories and information systems current.
• Follow Hilton policies, health‑and‑safety standards, and fire‑emergency procedures; report hazards or security incidents immediately.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering exceptional hospitality and a friendly, courteous demeanor.
• Strong integrity, teamwork orientation, and a sense of ownership.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Previous experience in a hotel, call centre, front‑office or customer‑service environment is advantageous.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems or telephone switchboards.
