About the role

The Telephone Sales Agent – In‑Room Dining (IRD) will handle guest room‑service orders via phone, ensuring a seamless and personalized dining experience for hotel guests. You will act as the first point of contact for guests seeking food and beverage options, promoting upsells and delivering accurate service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and take room‑service orders accurately.
• Recommend food and beverage pairings and upsell additional items.
• Record orders in the system and coordinate with kitchen and delivery staff.
• Prepare and deliver trays, manage the service area, and collect completed trays.
• Maintain cleanliness of the service station and adhere to hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a telephone sales or room‑dining order taker.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a guest‑centric attitude.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Good knowledge of beverages and wine to advise guests.
