Teller (UAE Nationals) – Bur Dubai

About the role

Emirates Islamic Bank is seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Teller to deliver efficient branch banking services in Bur Dubai. The role involves processing customer transactions accurately, supporting daily banking operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and providing a professional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cheque transactions and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver professional customer service by responding to queries and resolving routine issues promptly.
• Promote and refer suitable banking products and services based on customer needs.
• Reconcile cash balances and maintain complete, accurate transaction records.
• Ensure adherence to bank policies, operational controls, AML and KYC requirements.

Required profile

• High School or Secondary School qualification.
• 1–2 years experience in banking, customer service or cash‑handling roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• UAE nationals are preferred for this opportunity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with banking software and systems.
• Knowledge of AML (Anti‑Money‑Laundering) compliance procedures.
• Knowledge of KYC (Know‑Your‑Customer) compliance procedures.
• Cash‑handling expertise.
