Teller – UAE Nationals Only (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Emirates Islamic Bank is seeking a Teller to deliver efficient, accurate, and high-quality teller services while adhering to Shariah principles, bank policies, and regulatory requirements. The role involves processing cash and non-cash transactions, maintaining cash balances, and providing excellent customer service to branch visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and promoting digital banking channels.
• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cheques, and other teller transactions accurately.
• Balance cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of each day, ensuring cash holdings stay within limits.
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and fraud prevention controls.
• Identify customer needs and refer potential banking products, supporting branch sales initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in banking, customer service, retail operations or cash handling; fresh UAE national graduates are encouraged.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English with attention to detail.
