Test Engineer – Emiratisation (UAE National)

About the role

Rakbank is seeking a UAE National Test Engineer to join its Technology team. The role supports the bank’s Emiratisation vision by ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of digital platforms and customer‑facing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases and scenarios for banking applications and platforms.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, user‑acceptance and performance testing to guarantee high‑quality releases.
• Identify, document and track software defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve release velocity.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, product owners and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• UAE National (Family Book required) with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Experience in software testing, quality assurance or technology delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
