Testing & Commissioning Engineer - Telecom

About the role

Eurocontrolli is seeking a Testing & Commissioning Engineer specialized in telecom and security systems. You will lead the end‑to‑end commissioning process, from factory acceptance testing (FAT) to final client hand‑over, on both on‑shore and offshore sites.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate commissioning activities with the Project Manager, client, and Engineering teams.
• Analyse functional design specifications, block diagrams, interconnection drawings, cable lists and I/O lists to define test procedures.
• Draft, review and obtain client approval for pre‑commissioning, commissioning and SAT procedures.
• Configure systems, conduct FAT and Integrated FAT (IFAT) at Eurocontrolli facilities or manufacturer sites, aiming for a zero‑punch‑list outcome.
• Perform pre‑commissioning, on‑site commissioning, SAT, end‑user training and punch‑list close‑out.
• Support Engineering between assignments by preparing test procedures and troubleshooting field issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in telecom or security system commissioning.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects from factory testing to field acceptance.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret design documentation and develop test plans.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
