Training Manager – Beverage

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Training Manager – Beverage to lead the development and delivery of its Beverage Academy programmes. This senior role will shape the training strategy for wines, spirits, cocktails, coffee, tea and responsible alcohol service across the resort’s luxury food and beverage outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the vision, mission and strategy for the Beverage Academy in line with Wynn’s luxury service philosophy.
• Design comprehensive training curricula covering wines, spirits, cocktails, beer, coffee, tea, water service and responsible alcohol service.
• Lead a team of trainers and beverage professionals, fostering world‑class education and Forbes Travel Guide standards.
• Integrate training programmes with HR and Learning & Development to create clear career pathways.
• Continuously update content to reflect global beverage trends, product knowledge and Wynn standards.
• Monitor performance metrics such as guest satisfaction, sales and team development to assess training impact.
• Develop SOPs, learning materials and cross‑training initiatives for bars, restaurants, lounges and events.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and responsible service of alcohol regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering beverage training programmes in luxury hospitality.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire diverse trainer and service teams.
• Deep knowledge of global beverage trends, Forbes Travel Guide standards and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with HR, operations and culinary teams.
