Training Manager – Visitor Experience Team, Abu Dhabi

About the role

The new cultural landmark in Abu Dhabi needs a Training Manager to shape the Visitor Experience team. You will design and deliver onboarding and continuous learning programmes for a large Front‑of‑House workforce, ensuring staff are motivated, knowledgeable and confident.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy for the Visitor Experience team.
• Plan and deliver onboarding for all new joiners, creating a welcoming and motivating experience.
• Design engaging learning experiences that simplify complex content and make it memorable.
• Coordinate training in customer service, presentation, facilitation, content knowledge, operational procedures and visitor engagement.
• Manage weekly training allocation, ensuring effective use of time.
• Maintain the learning platform, keeping training materials up‑to‑date and easily accessible.
• Produce training manuals, facilitator guides, presentations, assessments and digital resources.
• Monitor participation, progress, competency and training effectiveness, providing regular reports.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience training Visitor Experience teams, guides or facilitators.
• Experience in a museum, contemporary art organisation or similar cultural institution is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale onboarding and training programmes.
• Experience supervising training professionals and line‑managing staff.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, coaching and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
