Transactional Buyer (Emiratization)

About the role

The Transactional Buyer will support a government‑outsourced client in Abu Dhabi by managing end‑to‑end procurement activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while adhering to corporate policies and Emiratization goals.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes for assigned purchase requisitions, from requirement analysis to purchase order issuance.
• Prepare and manage RFQs/RFPs, evaluate commercial offers, and recommend suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery criteria.
• Maintain a short PR‑to‑PO cycle and monitor supplier performance against agreed lead times.
• Conduct commercial negotiations to achieve best value for the organization.
• Update ERP‑SAP and the sourcing platform with accurate procurement data.
• Produce regular reports on sourcing status, PR aging, PO cycle time, and supplier performance.
• Support supplier relationship management and contribute to category‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Business or Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a transactional sourcing environment.
• Experience working with government or outsourced contracts and knowledge of Emiratization requirements.
