Transportation Supervisor

About the role

This role plans, coordinates and supervises staff transportation between accommodation, project sites and other designated locations, manages the fleet and vehicle operations, and oversees drivers. It works closely with Operations, HR, Recruitment, Mobilization and Accommodation teams and covers the UAE market.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily staff pick-ups and drop-offs across multiple locations, including new arrivals, transfers and mobilization
• Prepare and manage daily vehicle schedules, routes and driver allocations, and respond to emergency and last-minute requests
• Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance, fuel consumption and operating costs; ensure vehicles are maintained, registered, insured and compliant with UAE regulations
• Supervise drivers, check their attendance, performance and safety compliance, verify valid UAE driving licences, run safety briefings and arrange replacements
• Coordinate with internal teams and external transport providers, and handle transportation complaints
• Prepare daily and monthly reports on vehicle utilization, driver attendance and fuel consumption, maintain logs and trip sheets, and report accidents and incidents

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in transportation or fleet supervision in the UAE
• Previous experience in facilities management, manpower transportation or large-scale staff transport preferred
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes and traffic regulations
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred
