Travel Industry Consultant

About the role

Amadeus Business Consulting (ABC), part of the GSS Global Accounts & Strategic Sales organization, is looking for a knowledgeable Consultant to join its consulting hubs in Dubai or Madrid. The role contributes to ABC's role as a global expertise hub, delivering consulting and transformation services to the travel industry.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver chargeable and non-chargeable consulting services to external customers, with clear outcomes, governance and adherence to scope, budget and timeline.
• Support GSS, business domains, commercial teams, Customer Success, Pre-Sales and strategy teams by turning customer needs into value propositions and business cases.
• Engage with senior and executive stakeholders to support transformation decisions and strengthen strategic relationships.
• Contribute to consulting practice development, reusable assets and playbooks, service incubation and value assessment methods.
• Build expertise across travel business domains and Amadeus solutions and share knowledge to improve adoption and value realization.

Required profile

• Academic qualification in Business, Management, Finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work in an international environment.
• Experience in consulting, strategy, business planning, financial management or related functions.
• Direct airline work experience or experience as an aviation consultant across several airline business domains (network planning, revenue management, commercial management and operations).
• Proven airline Revenue Management experience, including demand forecasting, inventory control, pricing optimization and revenue steering.
• Familiarity with O&D optimisation, bid price control, segmentation and willingness-to-pay modelling, and metrics such as RASK, yield and load factor.
• Ability to support airlines in revenue management transformation, including dynamic pricing, offer and order management integration and ancillary revenue optimisation.
• Interest in travel technology and ability to learn quickly in a complex environment.
