Treasury Officer

About the role

The Treasury Officer will support daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, bank reconciliation, reporting, and data integrity across banking and payment platforms. You will work closely with the Head of Treasury, gaining exposure to crypto‑friendly payment ecosystems and helping modernise the tech stack with automation and AI‑assisted tools.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cash position, liquidity and treasury KPI reports for management and the board.
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards, perform forecast‑vs‑actual variance analysis and write variance narratives.
• Perform daily reconciliation of bank, PSP and EMI accounts against the general ledger, investigate exceptions and tune automated matching engines.
• Monitor cash positions across multiple entities, currencies and accounts, flag funding needs and support inter‑company cash transfers.
• Support day‑to‑day banking operations, new market/product onboarding and ongoing maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in treasury, financial operations or accounting, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Solid understanding of bank reconciliation processes and general‑ledger fundamentals.
• Strong analytical instincts, attention to detail and clear written communication.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / spreadsheet skills.
• Experience with treasury management systems such as Kyriba, GTreasury or Nomentia.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms like Xero, Planergy or NetSuite.
• Hands‑on use of reconciliation platforms and AI‑assisted matching tools.
