Turbojet Testing and Engine Assembly Leader

About the role

The Turbojet Testing & Engine Assembly Leader leads the assembly, testing and development validation of microjet engines. The role oversees a team of technicians responsible for engine assembly and test execution, ensuring all activities are performed safely, efficiently and to the required engineering standards. It supports engine development by planning and managing test programs, analysing results and sharing technical findings with engineering and program management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the assembly, testing and development validation of microjet engines
• Supervise the Assembly and Test Team of technicians
• Ensure all assembly and testing activities are safe, efficient and compliant with engineering standards
• Plan and manage engine test programs
• Analyse results from engine testing
• Communicate technical findings to engineering and program management teams
• Work closely with Technical Leads, SMEs and technicians

Required profile

• PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred
• Experience in test engineering or test operations
• Aerospace or propulsion testing experience preferred
• Experience in a structured engineering or industrial environment
• Good written and spoken English; teamwork and willingness to learn in a fast-paced test environment

Required skills

• Familiarity with instrumentation, data acquisition systems or control systems is advantageous
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and test documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
